Online MCA at Andhra University Online: what the programme actually covers
Andhra University Online runs its Online MCA as a online Online MCA that spans 2 Years, aimed at working professionals and students who want campus-grade curriculum delivered remotely from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The degree carries UGC entitlement and AICTE approval, so it holds the same academic value as an on-campus Online MCA for higher studies, government posts and private-sector hiring. Andhra University Online is an established institution, operating since 1926, and its online learners study through recorded lectures, live sessions, digital libraries and proctored assessments rather than daily classroom attendance.
Who this Online MCA suits
Admission generally follows the standard entry route for a Online MCA, so check your last qualifying marksheet before you apply. It fits three groups in particular: professionals who need the Online MCA credential for a promotion or a role change, graduates in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh and nearby districts who cannot relocate for a full-time seat, and learners returning to study after a career gap who need evening and weekend flexibility. Because the schedule is online, the real commitment is weekly study hours rather than travel, and most students plan around 8–12 focused hours a week across the 2 Years.
Fees, instalments and what you actually pay
The published total for the Online MCA is ₹76,200 for the full 2 Years, which works out to roughly ₹38,100 per year. Andhra University Online also supports instalments from about ₹2,500 per month, which is what most working learners use instead of a single upfront payment. Budget separately for examination and convocation charges, which sit outside the tuition figure. One rule applies to every programme listed on Parahi: pay your fee directly to Andhra University Online through its official channels — never to us or to an intermediary.
Career outcomes after the Online MCA
Salary outcomes depend heavily on prior experience: freshers usually start in entry-level roles, while professionals use the Online MCA to move up within their current organisation. An online Online MCA is most valuable when you pair it with demonstrable work — live projects, certifications and internal responsibilities all count more than the delivery mode. Andhra University Online supports this through placement assistance, resume and interview preparation, and an alumni network that reaches employers well beyond Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. If you are comparing this programme with another university, compare the fee, the specialisation list and the accreditation side by side before you commit.
