How to study Cisco Packet Tracer Course effectively
Cisco Packet Tracer Course is a beginner-level it & networking course from Cisco Networking Academy, delivered fully self-paced. Free courses are abandoned far more often than paid ones, so treat it like a scheduled commitment: block two or three fixed slots a week, finish each module before starting the next, and rebuild every exercise yourself instead of only watching the walkthrough. Keep a short notes file as you go — it becomes the revision material you use before an interview.
What this course is worth on a CV
Recruiters read the skills, not the course title, so list Network Simulation, IoT, Cybersecurity Skills under your skills section and back each one with something you built. Cisco Networking Academy issues a certificate of completion, which is useful as supporting evidence on LinkedIn but rarely decisive on its own. A free it & networking course works best as a companion to a recognised qualification: use it to test whether the field suits you, then decide whether a full UGC-approved degree or a paid certification is the right next investment.
