The Civil Services Examination is conducted annually by UPSC in three stages (Prelims, Mains, Interview) to recruit officers for IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS and other Group A and B central services.

Eligibility
Indian citizen (and specified nationalities for some services), graduate from a recognised university, aged between 21 and 32 years (with relaxations as per UPSC notification).
